Srinivas BV, also known as The Oxygen man of india, is the President of the All India Youth Congress. When the country suffocated in the second wave of covid, the oxigen man became the tagline of hope for millions. Srinivas, who has made it clear that there is no politics in Covid-era activities, is leading a team of 1,000 volunteers. Oxygen cylinders are being brought to Delhi from other states at the expense of Youth Congress and the public.

At the beginning of Covid, Srinivas and his team distributed masks to the people under the name 'Mask up India'. Since the lockdown was announced last year, the team has been delivering food and medicine to guest workers returning to their home countries. When things went back to normal after the first wave of covid, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi warned Srinivasan about the second wave. At the suggestion of Rahul Gandhi, Srinivas BV prepared a large number of people for Covid Defense. It is because of this preparation that we have been able to help so many people. The three-year-old, who had survived with the help of an oxygen cylinder since birth, did not get a cylinder due to the oxygen shortage during the Covid era. Srinivasan and his companions ran from hospital to hospital for a cylinder. Srinivas said the child was eventually given oxygen and his life was saved.Even the newsland embassy in Delhi has called on Srinivasan for help.

BV Srinivas was a rising cricketer of Karnataka. Until 2003, Srinivas played wicket-keeper-batsman in the Under-16 and Under-19 teams. In 2003, the ball hit his eye and Srinivas had to undergo surgery. It took two years to recover. It was a break from his cricket career.

Srinivas BV, a native of Shivamogga, started his political career while studying at the National College, Bangalore.
